Erin's log......battle date November 25th, 2006........

We are under ATTACK !!! The crew and I have been pelted by this white flaky stuff since November 24th, 2006 afternoon. laa laaaa laa laaaa laaa.....hahaha...Gotcha all again........nanny nanny poo poo !!!

Today will be a quick little post to show the snow.

Yesterday I went out to Wally World to get started on my Christmas shopping, I think I arrived somewhere around 1:00pm......as I shopped and shopped and shopped some more I finally left the store to find......dun dun dun...SNOW !!!

I first instinct was to panic !!! Then I slapped my face a couple time and came to my senses......I think I was still in my shopping daze !! And why the hell would I panic.....I will let all the other idiots around me panic....they seemed (at that time) to be doing enough panicking for everyone !! Anyway I eventually made it home ...an hour later.....I really got to start paying more attention to when the double lanes open on the Lions Gate. The snow kept falling and falling.....yes it is now Sunday morning and it is still falling and it looks like it isn't going to stop anytime soon. It is warm though so I think it is also melting as it snows too.

I hope you all are having LOTS of fun frolicking in the snow....and for those of you out there who don't have any snow yet.......well, you can just use your imaginations.....right !?!??!?

Signing out for today.......I must rest up and think about what I will write about next week.....yes it does take me that long !!!

Erin's Log, November 24th, 2006.......
Today we came across some unknown territory......
I have to admit......the crew and I were all VERY scared !!
So right about now all you Trekies out there.....come on...you know who you are.......are all hearing the never forgetting Star Trek theme song going through your heads........laa laaaa laa laa laaaaaaaaaa....... hahaha......gotcha !!!!

So......sorry to all of you who keep checkin' out my blog to see if I have updated since the great birthday weekend......I have FINALLY recovered !!!!

Not to much to report in my lovely, upbeat, very busy life........you who know me know the real true to that !!! Anywho.....I did up my sister and Jakers tickets to England a couple weeks back and xpress posted them to her in the big bad Montreal.....you know the place where they just busted a bunch a Mafia people, whom one was a Russian Spy.......aaaaahhhh gotta love the Mafia & the Russians !!!! So Sara & Jakers made it to England.....as most of you know....safe and sound. Sara was so kind to email me some pics of Vashti, Maeve and Jakers which I loved to see.....didn't really like the 430am wake up call though !!! Well I have attached them for all of you to view....sorry if they are small.......Apparently size DOESN'T matter to Sara !!!! Unlike the most of us.... right ??!?!? Oh come on......you were all thinking it .....I was just the only one who said something about it.

Apparently, the last post had many people asking questions about my strong love affair with good ol' Robbie..........all I can say is.......a girls gota do what a girls gota do. Kiddin'.......Robbie & Deano are my good buds who I may have or may not have had some "fun" with........
I my defense....I blame alcohol......what happened in the past......is in the past...... heeheehee......

So Jac.......I ALWAYS have room for Chris !!! What a BIG happy family we would all be !!!!!


Well kids.......my 2nd martini is almost gone so I must refill and relax for the evening......gotta rest for shopping tomorrow........I think it is time to buy some shoes !!!!

WEEKEND OF FUN !!

Well I'm back.......yes I went away......
I spent a lovely weekend on the Coast with the Shorthouse, Manulak and Auntie Mare & Bob (not sure of there last name) families.
It was the twins ...Abby & Emma big 4th birthday !!!! Yeah.....we all had SO much fun !!! Friday after work I rushed home to pack and wait for Robbie (the very hansom fellow at the bottom of the photos above) to picked me up around 7pm so we could catch the 915pm ferry. I had a few shots for my favorite Vodka and before you know Robbie was here. We set out on our adventure to the ferry...traffic was it's usual Friday night before the long weekend mad house. We made to the ferry with lots of time to spare....while after going down the wrong lane and having to go back to the freeway and loop around again we FINALLY made it into the correct lane. We needed to try to keep warm while in the line up so rather than .....you know....I decide that a bottle of wine would be a better idea. Well it seemed like a good idea at the time.....looking back now...not so much !! The ferry was a little late.....I know...shocking. After a short ferry ride and a bottle of wine we arrived at the cabin in Roberts Creek. (PS-I drank most of the wine.....so Robbie was okay to drive) Deb (the beautiful, sexy woman in the picture above), Dean (the other very handsome gentlemen in the picture above), Kev (sorry no pic), Auntie Mare (sorry no pic...while you can kind of see her sitting behind Maggie (the little cutie pie sporting the lovely bowl cut her Mom gave her in the picture above) and John (sorry no pic - he is the father of the sexy woman Deb and the handsome fellow Robbie). Well 2 seconds after walking through the door Kev had a glass of wine for me.....then another 2 seconds later out came the "FIREBALL"........well poor old Erin was is pretty fine shape !!!!! Just when I think I can party like it's 1999 again....the harsh really come flying back to slap me in the face !!! Needless to say I visited the powder room about 1am to do some "worshiping to the gods".

So Saturday I was awoken at the lovely hour of 7am by Emma.......oh that Emma....she LOVES to chat !!! I rolled out of my bunk bed, yes I said bunk bed.....I had the pleasures of bunking with Deb and little Maggie. They where both very excellent roomies....thank you girls. After a cup of Joe and slow moving all the girls gather our things and headed to town to do some shopping. Then we stopped by Mickey D's for lunch.....yummy greasy burgers all around. Well they were yummy up until I almost finished and my tummy didn't think it was so yummy anymore. I kept everything is place.....all was good....I managed to survive. Once we got home though......the couch was my friend and best bud for the rest of the afternoon. The boys all went on there big fishing/bonding adventure as per the usual ......so about 4 cases of beer and some happy tobaccie later then arrived back at the cabin with lots and lots of prawns. They didn't catch very many fishes and the ones they did catch were to small so they had to throw them back.....well this is the story the told everyone. We ate an awesome dinner that night.....I like to call it the international feast....fresh prawns, homemade perogies, Italian sausages and an Asian salad....yum. I managed to eat a bit of everything and even have a glass of wine. The boys who were all in "prime" shape after there day of FUN.....kept the spirit alive right into the night. Good ol Robbie.....who at this point had been through....beer, whiskey, other substances......was now on to the red wine. Well for those of you who do not know the Manulak & extended families....they visit the Coast several times a year to see the girls.....well every time they visit they rent a cabin/house somewhere for a week so they are not putting anyone out and whatnot. I have yet to see the same cabin/house twice !!! Now I know why......there very handsome son Robbie likes the red wine......but the very handsome Robbie is quite the spilly talker. By the end of the night I think he got more wine on the carpet than in his belly !!!

Sunday was the girls big day. The Saturday night we did manage to decorate the living room for the girls birthday with a beautiful backdrop of a Princess Castle and lots of Princess posters everywhere. So that morning when Abby and Emma got up at the lovely hour of 6am they were VERY surprised !!! After the girls had some breakfast and listened to a very lovely and thoughtful phone call of Happy Birthday singing from there friends Maeve & Madigan in jolly ol England, they opened a few presents. Around 10am Corrina and Riley (sorry about the spellings) showed up and all the kids started to wind up. Then around 11am the rest of the kids and families showed up and then the party REALLY got wound up. Most of the man folk were gathered by the back door plotting there escape route. Slowly one by one disappeared....then next thing you know they were all off again to Pender Harbour to pick up a "boat". Once again I have my doubts !!! The party continued until about 130pm.....the girls had tons of muchies, candy and cakes. Vashti the cake picture is for you.......uuummm don't you EVER think that your cakes suck and never turn out !!! Sorry Deb ......I know you put all of your heart into the cakes and you are one of the best Mom's I know.....but cake making ...I think you need some lessons at !!!!! hahahaha......it's all good....right !! I just thank the lord that Corrina was around 2weeks ago and bought you another cake so you weren't TO embarrassed !!! hee hee hee........ This year the girls had a dora pinata again.......aaahhh pinata's !! Well this cabin/house did not have any place to hang the pinata........so we got Robbie and Uncle Bob to stand on chairs holding a curtain rode with he pinata tied to it, Kev was the referee. Now I know what you are all thinking.....and yes I was think the same thing.....why don't I have a recorder to tape all of this fun stuff that you know is about to happen. So the beating of poor dora commenced......beat after beat after beat.......poor poor dora. I can now safely say some of those children are going to have some issues later in life......aaaahhhh can you say...THERAPY !!!! Fun was has by all no injury's well except for dora. Kev did come close to getting a "beating" but was quick and moved. This time they didn't use a bat or stick of wood or anything like that so it wasn't too dangerous......unlike last years !!!! Once all the kids left we cleaned up and relaxed for the rest of the afternoon.....while the girls played with there new and exciting toys.....well played with most of them. They really wanted to play with Auntie Erin's toy but Auntie Erin's toy consisted of lots and lots of little pieces and involved water. The other adults frowned upon opening it. Boooo......I so really wanted to play with the Barbie Scuba Pool I got them and the coconut scented Barbies !!!! Oh well next time. Later that night I uncorked the other bottle of wine I brought with me.......I was feeling okay by that point so I figured .......hey what the hell !!! We all just relaxed for the evening......everyone had some couple drink accept the super handsome Robbie.....he wasn't feeling all to well.....and they really couldn't afford a new couch on top of the carpet that he may have to replace !!!!

Monday morning the super sexy wonderful Deb had to get up at 530am to go to work.......I got up shortly after around 6am to get ready for the super handsome Robbie to pick me up so we could get the 820am ferry. Robbie's dad John joined us.....he decided to head home early (back to Quesnel) with Robbie. John was nice enough to buy Robbie and I breakfast on the ferry......uuummm ferry food. We all had a very nice chat and ride into Vancouver.......John thinks that the very handsome Robbie should settle down and be my manwhore. I said that the very handsome Robbie needs to work on his portfolio then email it to me. At this point in time I demand to be a kept woman and spoiled with may lavish gifts, etc. After the men folk dropped me back home I sit here and write my blog, chat with Sara and Jakers, do my laundry and now sign off. I could continue but I think I have bored most of you already......that and Vashti has signed in and wants me to finish so she can read all about my exciting adventurous weekend.

So once again I thank everyone for there hospitality this weekend......I really enjoyed it and can't wait to do it again.

Well I tried !!!!
I attempted to attach a picture by fail miserably.
However I the attempt I did find some VERY interesting pictures of the Clan Mussellam's.......since this was there computer. So if any of you are interested in seeing some.....well rather interesting photos .....let me know.
They will be selling to the highest bidder. Let's just say......anyone want revenge for the " roaster coasters " ????

Now....on to ME.
So nothing much new to report. I had lunch with the Grandma's on Halloween. I showed them the photo's I took of England....Castle after Castle......they were less than impressed. They did however, really like the photo's of the Clan Mussellam's and of course my "husband" Phil whom is thanking the Lord right now that I am back in Canada. I would have loved to post the photo's but like you all know .....no digital camera.

Well tonight I have resorted once again to drinking alone. My friends (well really just one friend) was already hammer by 6pm so he couldn't drive. Yes I could have driven to his house to visit and have some drinkie poos however..... that would not have been a good idea, as I tend to get a little " randy" when I've had a few.....I figure it was best I did not visit.....my "husband" would have disapproved. Tomorrow......well tomorrow is another day....we shall see what awaits my wild and exciting adventures !!!! hahahaahahaaaa......
